Harga Emas akan mencecah $ 2,000 auns pada separuh kedua 2012.

Walaupun, harga emas telah jatuh kira-kira 16 peratus sejak mencecah rekod pada bulan September dan ramai penganalisis menjangka pembetulan akan berterusan sehingga suku pertama. Tetapi pihak-pihak berkepentingan majoriti dan peserta industri melihat harga emas rali tahun depan, mungkin untuk rekod baru, dalam separuh kedua 2012.

"Harga emas akan berkumpul sekali lagi pada tahun 2012 mencecah $ 2,000 hingga $ 2,500 setiap auns kerana permintaan yang masih kukuh dan logam berharga masih dilihat sebagai tempat selamat," menurut Sabine Schels, ahli strategi komoditi di Bank Amerika Merrill Lynch.

Walaupun pembetulan harga emas pada bulan-bulan kebelakangan ini, Schels berkata pelabur kekal permintaan akan menyebabkan harga emas purata $ 1,850 pada 2012, meningkat daripada $ 1.573 pada tahun 2011.

Deutsche Bank juga yakin dengan prospek emas dan ramalan bahawa harga akan mencecah $ 2,000 auns pada separuh kedua 2012.

Wall Street gergasi Goldman Sachs berkata logam kuning akan memuncak pada $ 1,900 setiap auns tahun depan, ramalan purata tahunan sebanyak $ 1.810.
